SSM Advises Traders, Hawkers And Business Owners To Renew Their Licenses Early

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 7 (Bernama) -- The Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) has advised small-time traders, hawkers and business owners to renew their business registration licenses early and before December 31.

"The registration and annual renewal fees for sole and joint proprietorship is RM50 for a period of five years, while the compound payment for late registration and registration renewal has been reduced by 50 per cent," SSM said in a statement today.

It also advised all of them not to wait till the last minute to register or renew their business licenses. This way, they can avoid long queues at SSM counters nationwide and also congestion online, it said.

SSM on June 1, this year, had issued an incentive package for business registrations and renewals.
