KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 5 (Bernama) -- Koperasi Perniagaan Wawasan Kuala
Lumpur Bhd (KOPWAKUL), whose main business is investing in Ministry of
International Trade and Industry (MITI) initial public offerings via the
Bumiputra Special Share Allocation, aims to garner 200 investors in
2013.

Its Chairperson Fiona Tang told Bernama that KOPWAKUL has registered
more than 100 investors since its first annual general meeting in
November 2012.
"The purpose of forming this cooperative is to give high returns to its members.
"Our long-term vision is to set up a cooperative bank. Our registered
members and various parties, such as Persatuan Profesional Sabah dan
Sarawak di Selangor dan Kuala Lumpur (PROSASA), will be involved in the
cooperative," she said.
The cooperative aims to pay a gross dividend yield of five per cent and
above to all cooperative members, and plans to build Wisma KOPWAKUL
offering members free library use and Internet access, she said.
Potential investors may join KOPWAKUL online or by filling in a form.
"The requirement is a minimum investment is RM110, aged above 18 years
old and residing or working in Kuala Lumpur," she said.
