Hussein said this was possible with the myriad of consumer packages
being offered by the various telecommunication companies in Malaysia.
These packages provide tremendous opportunities to entrepreneurs to
generate long-term passive income, thus helping the cashflow in their
existing business.
Adnan said his company, which is the authorised dealer for a premier
telcommunications operator, was now opening up small neighbourhood
centres which would provide such packages for consumers.
Any small business preferably Bumiputera owners in Klang Valley which
could provide a 20ft-by-20ft space in its existing shop was eligible to
participate in the scheme which required only a small and very
affordable capital outlay.
Adnan said participants need not have prior experience in the
telecommunications industry as his company would provide free training
and full support to the operators.
He said since there were only a limited number of such centres,
preference would be given to really serious operators on a first come,
first serve basis.
