(KATM) is on the right track to be a cooperative bank by 2015 and is at
60-70 per cent readiness, says Chief Executive Officer Brig Gen (R)

"Our asset of RM2.3 billion surpasses the requirement of RM300 million in members' assets to be a cooperative bank.
"We are identifying our strengths and weaknesses, the planning is going well," he told Bernama.
He said KATM is headhunting for the best candidates to lead the bank
and is also enhancing its information and communications (ICT) system.
"We hope the first phase of the system will be ready by year-end," he
said, adding KATM is also strengthening its operations and accounts
system to meet the Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS).
