KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 30 (Bernama) -- Bank Negara Malaysia is expediting
investigations into gold trading company, Genneva Malaysia Sdn Bhd, in
order to come to an early conclusion.

"We are expediting all investigations so that we will come to an early conclusion.
"We know that there are many anxious depositors and investors and so we
will expedite it as fast as we can," Bank Negara Governor Tan Sri Dr
Zeti Akhtar Aziz told reporters on the sidelines of the 26th East Asian
Insurance Congress.
On Oct 1, the police, Bank Negara, Companies Commission of Malaysia and
Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Con-sumerism Ministry jointly
conducted a raid on Genneva and its affiliates in the country for
various suspected offences.
Three other companies, Pageantry Gold Bhd, Caesar Gold Sdn Bhd and Worldwide Far East Bhd, were also raided.
